Privacy notice

R0 version (D-118). Replaced by the full notice at the Friendly-User gate. First draft for legal review.

What this is. SmartLife is a private pre-release of a personal life-management platform, operated by SmartUp Technologies ([legal name and RUT — owner to complete]), Santiago, Chile. At this stage it is used only by its owner; it is not offered to the public and no one else can create an account.

What data it holds. Your account details (email address, password hash, authenticator and recovery-code records), the information you enter (financial records, budgets, documents, notes and the people they mention) and security records (sign-ins, device fingerprints as keyed hashes, an audit trail of sensitive actions). We do not collect location, contacts or advertising identifiers.

Why. To provide the service to you and to keep it secure. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising or used to train AI models.

Where it is stored and who helps us. Data is hosted in São Paulo, Brazil (Supabase, Vercel, Upstash). Some providers operate from the United States (Vercel platform, Resend for email, Anthropic for AI features) or the European Union (Sentry for error reports, scrubbed of personal data). Each provider processes data only on our instructions under its data processing agreement.

How it is protected. Encryption in transit and at rest, extra encryption of sensitive fields, mandatory two-step sign-in, per-household access isolation and a tamper-evident audit log.

How long. Your data is kept while your account exists; backups roll over within 7 days; the security audit trail is kept for 5 years.

Your rights and contact. You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data at [contact email — owner to complete]. A full notice, with all rights under Chile's Ley 21.719, will be published before anyone other than the owner can use SmartLife.
